Made from a single piece of hand pressed felt, this cushion cover was made in the capital of Kyrgyzstan by women from the craft group ‘Arooke’. It features a braided tie up back detail.
The design is based on the petroglyphs of ‘Saimaluu-Tash’ which are dated back to the Bronze Age. In Kyrgyz ‘Saimaluu-Tash’ means place of patterned or embroidered stone.
This product has been designed exclusively for Made & Told and is part of a limited line.
Comes with a 22″ duck feather inner.
This cushion will be wrapped in recycled tissue paper and posted in a biodegradable plastic bag, along with a story card featuring more information about the artisans and their crafts.
